Our 6060 C was designed to fulfil the different demands of our customers. Not less than 4 versions of this amplifier are available. The simplest version has an output of 56W/sine, with no more than 0.5% THD+N at 1kHz. The next version that can be chosen has a remote control for volume. The third version incorporates also a phono stage and lastly the fourth version of the 6060 C has both remote control and a phono stage. Whichever version suits you, this amplifier with its wide frequency range and high power in the deep frequency ranges allows to enjoy a comfortable solution to your special demands in High End at an attractive price. Looking at the technical data you will soon realise that this isn't a standard run-of-the mill amplifier. No, it's a little bit more. Electronic "fuses", separate for each power tube, and a matched ALPS- potentiometer with no more than ≤ 0.5% balance difference between both channels are standard. One detail more: For the 4040 C and all 6060 C models you can opt, at ordering, for either 4 inputs, or 3 inputs and a "record out"- for a small extra charge. Ask your dealer for details. The general difference between 4040 C and 6060 C is the difference in sound character of EL34s and 6550s. Also the 6060 C has an output- transformer, which can deliver nearly 60W/sine at 30Hz with only 0.5% distortion. In other words, you have more bass- power and small speakers will benefit from this. One general comment: It is possible to replace the tubes in our amplifiers with those of different brands and sound character. We, however, have carrried out much research into the sound of many combinations of power- and pre-amp tubes to arrive at the straight, natural sound that is typically Lua. Any changes made to our tubes on an ad-hoc basis will result in the loss of this characteristic sound.
